GLENN CASIL, VICE President
Glenn, a Maui High graduate, is the general manager for HYATT RESIDENCE CLUB, Ka’anapali. Previously, he was director of operations at the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas and has been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years. After completing an Associate Degree at the University of Hawai’i Maui College, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management at the University of Hawai’i Manoa. Throughout his hospitality career, Glenn has mentored leaders, students & interns in business & class settings, and he serves on numerous brand & training councils. Glenn was a 2021 Gintong Pamana Leadership Award recipient of the Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce. SHARON ZALSOS BANAAG, SECRETARY
Sharon serves as Executive Assistant to Mayor Richard Bissen in the County of Maui. She previously worked in the County Dept. of Environmental Management, and is a consultant specializing in human resource management, and travel to the Philippines. She is a former Miss Maui Filipina, a veteran of the US Air Force, a Ka Ipu Kukui Fellow and starred as Kim in Broadway hit Miss Saigon for the Maui Academy of Performing Arts. For many years, Sharon has served as president for the Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce, and is a mom to 2 boys and 3 girls. WAYNE AGUIRAN, TREASURER
After receiving his Master’s degree in Social Work, he served as program director for the Ku‘ina program, which facilitates the successful transition of individuals to independence and self-sufficiency. He a certified facilitator for several programs, and has many years of voluntary experience with youth in school, church, and mental health settings. Virgilio “Leo” Agcolicol, DirectorManong Leo is a retired banker from Central Pacific Bank, where he served for 40+ years. He is a Vietnam veteran with the US Army and worked in the sugar fields farmed by Wailuku Sugar Company in 1967. He was the first Filipino serve on the board of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, the Maui Memorial Hospital Foundation, the J. Walter Cameron Center, and the Salvation Army Advisory Board. He served as President of the Maui Filipino Community Council for many years and has gained multiple recognitions and awards for his community service. |
